board rules

Rules
The board that exists for seriously discussing history. It also serves for the wider purpose of negotiating and debating different past events. Without violent purpose, historical revisionism means revisionism of existing history with serious intent of documentation and debates. Basically, that means the debate isn’t endless tag but a genuine dialogue where you need to persuade another side with victories and losses without insults, this is gentlemanly sports that concerns historical not political discussion. For only political seriousness, go to >>/pol/.

When making a thread, you can choose two themes: Documentation and Debate. Which in return changes approach of how thread is used. Alternatively not including two tags means academic talk in freeform, but no off-topic. Academic talk only.

Debate is used for open thread where anyone can debate on topic to find particular truth.

Documentation means historical archive that you are building and doesn't serve for talking, but can be quickly referenced if required by others.

Ironic posting is not considered legitimte and will be banned on our board, but only if circumstantially considered to be ironic and not genuine belief of that person.

Therefore, if the person believes he can post on anything that is not correct, but it is encouraged that any recognizable ironic posts are still removed from our board.
Rule Description
No Antagonistic CoercionProhibits posting insults and harassment of others on the board, that includes aggressive deliberate form of malice to user.
For example, spamming or flooding threads on purpose of dilating conversation.
Insulting others, accusing them with labels like “pedophile” or “chud”, and other mistreatment which mean antagonism. Malice is characterized by the heavy recalcitrant defiance and friendlessness user suggests for threads and poster. OP of the thread is always prioritized protection over the coercion of whoever else in the thread. But the rule applies solely to conversations with other users, not prohibits use of words for third party that is topic for conversation.
No Fun Allowed RuleThis prohibits any form of insults and slurs on the board. Including any mockery, hence called ‘No Fun Allowed Rule’. (they will be most likely censored though)
Jokes RuleRule that enforces utmost serious discussions across all threads, implying no joke allowed.
For example, it could be for scientific research but as said — no jokes on the board. Like even small one, none. No joke.
Off-Themed Posts RuleAnything that isn’t based on board’s theme is forever banned, only on places with defined themes can you find it.
