yes game is RPG maker type but no tur nbased combat or any solid gameplay, it is more of walking simulator that can be played in this domain without installation.

I will tell more about the game we will be making but we need open community for churro. atm i will download clip studio again.
i lost it after my ssd broke. basically, the game will be made with unity not rpg maker 2003 the reasons vary but mostly security and protection of files (i want to compile it in machine code).
As disappointing as it is for people, it will still be a public project that can be played from browser from the same window where the empty games' room exists.. the game will run in browser and it will be kind of walking simulator. i was thinking about encrypting files yesterday a lot I decided against it as it seems to not even work anyway since decrypted files will be stored indifferently.

youi as community will have to create pixel art or props for the game, I will then add them.

using a snippet in vs is dumb but thats what i thoguht because i dont want to manually make a new item

Just let me wash dishes. The point is for churro's horror game the main important need is for it to be protected. Since it's browser game with no download you can't easily install it, but what about secret events and files? Well, even if it was encrypted 50 times over it'd be just ont possible to protect it. Even full machine code is the same, it reveals certain functions and strings. Through means of deduction reverse engineered aspects of our game will eventually be released in the wild.

But… The game itself is only online, we are talking about tranny obsessed hacker who will recreate the entier game locally just out of spite so he can goddamn get our files? Yep. Here's the thing: even though the code is accessed through player, not all files are uploaded. What I am trying to say is that server uploads files on demand and then also removes them. Therefore trying to keep it all in is painful as hell, since the program basically only stores some cache and frequently removes it, also program does not store cache that is unlockable because it doesn't load all of scene to memory. If event doesn't happen there is no need to preload it in the first place.

When you enter location you only preload assets that are inside of it as of moment. You don't preload events that don't happen.
You also don't load them immediately, you load them as you walk through the map, my general desire.

Without online game can't be really played, it needs access to server to load content. there is 2 GB limit for indexdb, but cached file will be relatively small outside of the main binary file.

its not perfect it makes it challenging for someone to care about hacking the game.

because it is too annoying and doesnt reward you
you still need to beat the game itself

although hackers can recreate the game outside of network they won't be able to get the models.

therefore itd be generally boring torecreate it
sadly some aspects of the game that arent data wont be protected like scripts and etc.
so events can be reverse engineered and found out
