Post-Game Symptom: The first thing I do when I turn on my computer each day is listen to the Opus.
(Excuse me for some strange usage in my English)

Compared to the previous game, this is a massive leap forward in every respect. Astonishing technical skills. The gameplay modes now fit the theme more naturally, the style feels more unified and cohesive, and the staging is richer than ever.
Its interpretation of emotions and the way it builds the player’s experience are near-perfect, creating an intense sense of resonance. The art and visual design in each chapter work together to create a pure, immersive feeling — like stepping into a unique theme park, or a labyrinth.

Spoiler Alert

Anxiety delivers their trademark overflow of black humors.
Creation sprinkles in meta elements, such as sudden pauses and extra dialogue, that made me grin.
Ecstasy channels the aesthetics of the old internet era (I especially loved how Ecstasy was everywhere in this chapter. They are just like a chupa chups I could never bear to eat), along with the eerie, uncanny mood of the nighttime highway drive.
Lament moved me with its gentle, reassuring atmosphere, especially the quiet moment of sitting next to Starr and reading after fixing everything.
Anger impressed me with its striking black–white–red visuals (the way Anger’s head flows like liquid was fascinating).
And Logic… I adored every bit of their character interactions (felt like a blue paradise I love it).
I enjoyed all of it immensely.

When the new characters were first revealed, I imagined Lament would be melancholic and passive, while Ecstasy would be an inconsiderate stirrer. But after playing, I realized Lament is polite, gentle, and remarkably proactive — bringing a sense of comfort that even things shattered countless times can be fixed again and cherished, a kind of true optimism. Ecstasy, on the other hand, is steeped in past joy, more prone to drifting into nostalgic sadness. To me, they almost feel like tonal opposites, and I love that.

As for the returning cast, I’m touched by how much more layered and complex the emotions are this time. Little mascot Anxiety remains utterly endearing. I appreciate Creation’s detachment and mercilessness as an artist, which pairs perfectly with Logic’s rational, goal-focused mindset — they seem to share an unspoken understanding. Even the way each Realm’s NPCs treat their ruler feels vivid and distinctive.

Back to the story itself: this is a literary script that many creators will resonate with. I remember three years ago, finishing The Endless Empty, and feeling a force that transcended death. Now, after A Chamber of Stars, I’ve found a kind of peace that coexists with death. Heaven is not a place, but a feeling… The world existed before humanity, and it will continue after. Humanity is simply one of the world’s chances to arrange information about itself. One day, the universe will also fall into cold silence — but the chords played by tiny emotions will go on shimmering… and from them, the new universe will surely be bloomed.

Why are there so many songs about love here?
I don’t know — or maybe I’m not yet brave enough to answer.
But I think this one will surely be among my favorite love songs.
It’s truly, truly my fortune to experience an art work like this.
